TERMS, CONDITIONS & CONTRACT OF PERSONAL TRAINING


The Trainer’s Obligations:


The trainer will use their skills and knowledge to design a safe programme of exercise to achieve the client’s goals. This will take into account: the client’s age, health, lifestyle, background, occupation, fitness levels, likes and dislikes related to exercise and personality. The Trainer will endeavour to educate, motivate and inspire the Client to reach these goals. The trainer will provide the coaching, supervision, advice and support that the client will need to help them achieve their goals during each session. Your trainer may require a letter of ‘medical clearance’ from your GP depending on your health status. (Please be aware that your GP may charge for providing this letter) Your trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions. If your trainer misses your session without at least 12 hours notice you will be credited with an additional session on top of the missed session. To lead by example and give 100% commitment. To be completely honest if goals are unattainable.


Your Trainer is a fully qualified personal trainer (accredited on the Register of Exercise Professionals as at least Level 3). The Trainer will provide the coaching, supervision, advice and support that you will need to achieve your goals. Apart from the initial consultation (and the first personal training session if taken immediately afterwards) each personal training session will last 60 minutes (a “Session”). You understand that the results of any fitness programme cannot be guaranteed. Your progress depends on your effort and co-operation in and outside of the Sessions. In particular you acknowledge that individual results may vary and no particular result is guaranteed by your Trainer. All Client information will be kept strictly private and confidential.


The Client’s Obligations:


Be on time so that a full session can be achieved on each visit. The client is required to wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Clothes should be loose fitting and non-restrictive. Footwear should be comfortable and provide adequate support. Commit to the programme 100% in order to achieve results. Provide all information needed to achieve goals eg. Food diary, If the trainer requires, provide further medical information from a practitioner. You understand and agree that it is your responsibility to inform the Trainer of any conditions or changes to your health, now and ongoing, which might affect your ability to exercise safely and with minimal risk of injury. You understand that there are inherent risks in participating in a programme of strenuous exercise. If you sustain or claim to sustain any injury while participating in training, you acknowledge that the Trainer is not responsible, except where the injury was caused by his/her gross negligence or intentional act. Your Trainer cannot be held liable in any way for undeclared or unknown medical conditions.


Cancellation and Refunds:


12 hours notice of cancellation or postponement is required for all appointments. Notice of less than 12 hours will incur full payment of the full Session fee. Unforeseen events will be taken into consideration on the day.

Cancelled sessions must be used within  1-2 weeks of the cancellation date, if they are not used in this timeframe the sessions will expire and cannot be reused or refunded.

Block packages and sessions cannot be put on hold or frozen unless there is a written note from your doctor. Unforeseen events will be taken into consideration.

Once purchased, your block package and sessions are non-refundable and non transferable.


Lateness Policy:


If the client is late the Session cannot be extended and will end at the appointed time. If the Trainer is late additional time will be added to the Session or to subsequent Sessions.


Intellectual Property:


Any marketing, Client progress pictures/videos, educational or other materials, including the Company’s programmes and/or any variations thereto and its nutrition services materials, made available to you will at all times remain the property of the Company and is subject to copyright. You undertake to use such materials only for your own personal development and not to copy, publish or reproduce any such materials.
